Back 2 School

It's been a long day to an even longer week! We start back to school (teacher prep week) on Monday and this past Monday Tuesday and today we were able to go into our rooms and set up!! It amazed me how long it took for something's to be completed and after 3 days how much I still have to go! I'll post some pics later when everything is cleaned and organized just the way I like it!! Unfortunately, we're not allowed back into our rooms till Monday! So I've brought home like 5 projects to be completed this weekend- maybe I can convince my parents to come up and help me out. 

Today was the second day I've left my Livie all day (10 hours) aaahh and starting  Monday I'll have to do it all over again! I know she's fine because my mother in law is watching her while I work but I'm just dealing with all those emotions mommies go through when they have to go back to work. 

Well Olivia is a sleep and I'm about to fall a sleep right along with her so we'll see y'all later!! 

Hello my name is child of the one true King!

Hello Blogging World!!!

I've never done this before so I am a little unsure of how to make this blog super cute like some of the other blogs I read- so if someone can help me out I'd love some insight. The reason why I am attempting blogging is to share super cute ideas I've found for my classroom, home and children.


Let me start off and introduce myself. My name is Stephanie Gurley and I am a Christian, wife, mother, and teacher. My husband, Mark, and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary on July 9th.

 

 

 

We live and love in Lake Mary, Florida- a medium sized town just north of Orlando.

 

 

 

Exactly one year ago today (August 6th, 2012) at a doctors visit I found out I was carrying our first child, later we learned that the little "poppy seed" was a Gurley Girl!!! Here's her first ultrasound picture- 4.5 weeks gestation.

 

Then on April 10th 2013, after one failed induction, another and 15 hours of labor (thank you God for epidurals) sweet little Olivia Lou came into this world at 9:56pm weighing 8lbs 6 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long of pure beauty and perfection! It amazes me how God can take the little yolk sac and create and form it into being this sweet angel!

Now, Olivia is 4 months old and such a sweet, beautiful, smart little girl. My life is crazy now that I'm starting to go back to the dreaded 4 letter word- work- but I have an amazing hubby who is a super dad and such a great spouse! I couldn't have asked for a better man as my husband and the father of my children.

 

 

 

Well that's my little family, more about my walk with Christ and my job (I'm a first grade teacher! So much fun!!!) later as now I have to head back to school to get my room set up for my new little firsties!!!
